1  |  What is Fontaine Violettes Disinfectant Liquid?
 

【A】Fontaine Violettes Disinfectant Liquid is an alkaline ionized water that is produced using a Japanese patented technology.  This technology electrolyzes pH7 pure water into pH 12.5.  It then contains a large quantity of H¯ ions. Electrolysis technology produces large volume of tiny molecular clusters of hydrogen and oxygen ions, thereby enhancing the activity and penetration of water, making the disinfection and sterilization performance of our disinfectant liquid 300,000 times more than that of pure water.  Fontaine Violettes’ disinfectant liquid can clean objects, skin and other surfaces with effectiveness in disinfection, and elimination of stains, oil and odor.  Our disinfectant liquid does not contain any chemicals, corrosive surfactants or alcohol, which makes it safe for human and the environment.
 

2  |  Why is Fontaine Violettes Disinfectant liquid effective in sterilizing and removing contaminants if it is pure water with no chemicals nor alcohol? 
 

【A】Bacteria cannot survive in a highly alkaline environment, the reason why our Disinfectant liquid can remove contaminations is that it is full of very small hydroxide anions, which can penetrate between the dirt and the object.  The negative ions surround the dirt ions to separate them from the object surface, which is also why odor can be eliminated at the same time, because the small anion group can capture, surround and decompose the odorants.
 

3  |  Does Fontaine Violettes Disinfectant liquid have the same effectiveness in disinfecting as in conventional alcohol sanitizers/sprays?
 

【A】The common sanitizers/sprays available in the market can disinfect and sterilize but they contain high concentrations of alcohol or contain harmful chemicals and additives.  Fontaine Violettes Disinfectant liquid is made of 99.83% pure water and 0.17% food grade potassium carbonate. It is alcohol and chemical free, safe and gentle and will not cause any skin allergies or chemical burns, it is a safer disinfecting option for people with skin allergies, pregnant women, children and even pets.
 

4  |  Is it safe to use cookware or utensils right after cleaning and sanitizing with Fontaine Violettes Disinfectant liquid?
 

【A】It is perfectly safe to use the cookware or eat with the utensils right after using out product, no rinsing is required.  The only ingredient besides pure water in our product is 0.17% Food-Grade Potassium Carbonate, there are no surfactants or harmful chemicals, it is 100% harmless with contact by mouth.  The safe and high cleansing performance is great to use on any food surfaces, tableware, utensils, baby pacifiers and feeding bottles, and food processing facilities.
 

5  |  What is the shelf life of Fontaine Violettes Disinfectant Liquid? 
 

【A】If unopened and stored in cool dark area, the shelf life is 3 years.  If opened, the product can be used for 12 months.
 

6  |  How can we tell Fontaine Violettes Disinfectant Liquid is 100% alcohol free and chemical free? 
 

【A】A simple test by shaking the bottle of alcohol sanitizer and shaking a bottle of Fontaine Violettes disinfectant liquid.  Once shaken, both bottles will have tiny air bubbles appear, however, for solutions with alcohol/chemicals added, there will be more bubbles and they will float on the surface of the bottle for a longer period compared to our alcohol-free product.
 

7  |  What are the directions to use Fontaine Violettes Disinfectant Liquid? and how long does it take for it to disinfect and sanitize?  
 

【A】You can spray our product in the air to sanitize the room, or spray directly on surfaces, your hands and skin, then use a clean tissue or cloth to wipe dry after 5 – 10 seconds, this will ensure all germs and viruses that are destroyed can be totally removed from the surface. No rinsing is required.   For cleaning and sanitizing of walls, floors, windows and doors, we suggest diluting the disinfectant liquid with normal water (1:10), for stubborn stains or contaminated areas, no dilution is required.
 

8  |  Is there any difference between Fontaine Violettes Disinfectant Liquid and the alkaline water for drinking?
 

【A】The different is the pH level, the alkaline drinking water available in the market or produced from household ionizers is in the range of pH 8.5 – 9.5.  At this level of alkalinity, it is not sufficient for cleaning or sterilization.  Our disinfectant liquid has a high pH 12.5 which is effective for cleaning and 99.9% sanitization.   Our disinfectant liquid is not made for daily drinking; however, it is safe if swallowed or in contact with mouth because it is food-grade tested.
 

9  |  What should I do if I accidentally drank the disinfectant liquid by Fontaine Violettes? 
 

【A】Fontaine Violettes products are not for daily drinking consumption.  Our product is tested food grade safe with certification.   It is perfectly safe for objects or skin that has been sprayed or cleaned by our product to be in contact with mouth.  In cases where less than 250ml is accidentally consumed, please rinse and drink large volume of drinking water. If more than 250ml is accidentally consumed, please seek help from your doctor or nearest medical clinic.
 

10  |  Is Fontaine Violettes suitable to use on all objects and safe for humans? 
 

【A】Fontaine Violettes products are safe to use on skin, objects and in environments where you need to sanitize the room such as your kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and living room.   You can also spray directly on surfaces of objects such as clothing, shoes, mobile devices, pet accessories and infant accessories.  Our product is 100% safe to use for pregnant women, infant and children, and people with skin allergies or sensitivities.
